My Philosophy

Functional Fitness is the key

Have you ever felt like you were missing out on opportunities in your health and fitness because of a nagging old injury or that tight muscle that keeps bothering you? If you’re like most people, you have either heard of or know someone who spends so much time lifting heavy weights and doing various forms of cardio. The compound effect of years of improper training, poor posture, and tight muscles are a perfect recipe for a body that does not feel good nor allow for a high quality of life.

PROBLEM

Everyone knows someone who has either been injured or heard a story about someone getting injured. Whether it was due to sport, or activities of daily living (around the house, or working outside). Most injuries are due to poor shoulder and hip mobility.

SOLUTION

Think about it like this… In school, they teach children how to critically think and solve problems. The answers are not given to them. Our bodies are no different. We must teach them how to critically think in order to function at an optimal rate, move better, feel younger, and live longer. How do we do this? By training our core, improving our joint mobility, and properly activating the right muscles. Without these three essential components, we are increasing our chances of injury by 50%.
